Sex and Love: Sexual Dysfunction as a Spiritual Disorder
Chapter
Abstract
The attempt to focus on ‘sexual dysfunction’ outside its psychological, social, and philosophical context is like trying to define a southern black man’s difficulties getting to the polling booth as a ‘walking dysfunction’ or perhaps like talking about a priest’s struggle with sexual continence as an ‘emission control’ problem.
