Abstract

This lecture addresses the interpretation of measurements made on geothermal wells to identify the characteristics of the reservoir they penetrate. This leads to the construction of simple concepts or models of the reservoir. From these one can draw immediate qualitative or quantitative inferences about future behaviour; and lay the basis for more detailed reservoir engineering or modelling exercises.
