Abstract
Scleroderma (progressive systemic sclerosis — PSS) is a generalized disorder of connective tissue characterized by fibrosis and subsequently damaging degenerative and atrophic complications. The disease is dominated by its cutaneous manifestations which may be mimicked by a number of other pathological conditions. A broad classification of sclerodermatous conditions is shown in Table 6.0.
