Abstract

We model IR/UV spectra of AGN assuming that the radiation originates in accretion discs, relativistic electrons, and dust. Within a broad range of parameters, the properties of the theoretical sample are similar to the properties of the Palomar-Green survey. The presence of a ’break’ frequency at log(v) = 14.5 is particularly well reproduced. Better agreement with the data is for accretion discs radiating at their Eddington limits.
