The Effects of Inhomogeneities in 3-D Models on Abundance Determinations
Chapter
Abstract
A project to estimate the errors made when using one-dimensional models to derive abundances for stars is presented. Comparison is made between the lines generated from a 3-D simulation and the lines generated from a 1-D model with the same basic parameters. The 3-D simulations have been made, and the analysis is in progress.
