Three-Dimensional Modelling of Mixing with Helical Ribbon Screw Impeller

Abstract

We present in this work the results of a threedimensional mixing study in a vessel provided with two kinds of impeller, namely an helical ribbon screw impeller and an helical ribbon impeller. The work includes finite element simulation as well as experimental investigation.
