Zusammenfassung
Azapropazon ist ein nichtsteroidales Antirheumatikum aus der Klasse der Benzotriazine. Der antiphlogistische und analgetische Wirkungsmechanismus von Azapropazon beruht insbesondere auf Inhibition von Freisetzung und Aktivität lysosomaler Enzyme, wogegen die prostaglandinhemmenden Eigenschaften weniger ausgeprägt sind1,2. Dies bewirkt, dass die destruie-rende Wirkung der lysosomalen Enzyme gemindert und gleichzeitig die Schutzfunktion bestimmter Prostaglandine, wie im Bereich der Magen-Darm-Mucosa, erhalten bleibt3.
