Abstract

The post-war years were characterized by an intensive development of scientific and technological cooperation among the developed countries. Technology transfer was involved in such a cooperation. According to the definition given by the United Nations Organization in 1974, technology transfer implies transfer of a set of knowledge and know-how, which allows production of goods or services, including the experience necessary for technology introduction.
