A Robust Audio Aggregation Watermark Based on Vector Quantization
Abstract
In this paper, vector quantization is applied to protect the audio aggregation’s copyright and a robust watermarking algorithm which takes audio aggregation as carrier has proposed. The quantizer’s input vectors are composed by the audio aggregation’s DCT coefficients, the input vectors are divided into two clusters according to the parity of codeword index, then distributing information ‘0’ and ‘1’ to the two clusters respectively. According to the watermark information and the genus bits of clusters, modify the middle-frequency part of DCT coefficients to embed the watermark. When detected, the watermark can be recovered only by classified the middle-frequency part of DCT coefficients to which clusters without original audio aggregation. The experimental results show the algorithm has good imperceptibility, and has stronger robustness when resist to various attacks such as lossy compression, normalization and so on.
