Samenvatting

Larynxtumoren metastaseren bijna nooit op afstand. Indien men deze tumoren lokaal onder controle kan krijgen en houden, is er sprake van curatie. De manier waarop dit wordt bereikt is meestal heelkundig en/of radiotherapeutisch. De rol van de chemotherapie wordt apart besproken.
