Samenvatting

De valgiserende proximale tibia-osteotomie is een operatie die wordt uitgevoerd voor een pijnlijk artrotisch kniegewricht, waarbij de artrose vooral is gelokaliseerd in het mediale compartiment van de knie. Het is een succesvolle operatie omdat bij meer dan 90% van de mensen de pijnklachten in de knie grotendeels verdwijnen en de progressie van de artrose vele jaren wordt tegengegaan.
