Samenvatting

Bij het ontstaan van een neurologische aandoening is het belangrijk om te onderkennen dat de aandoening en haar consequenties niet alleen de persoon met het letsel zelf treffen maar ook de familie. Het is vaak een angstige, onzekere periode waarin een gezonde persoon een patiënt wordt met een onzekere toekomst.
