Hartkloppingen

De klacht hartkloppingen geeft het gevoel weer dat het hart niet in het normale ritme functioneert of een abnormale kloppende sensatie teweegbrengt.1 Klachten van het hartritme worden door mensen vaak als bedreigend ervaren. Stoornissen in het hart, en dan vooral in het ritme van het hart worden bovendien gemakkelijk opgemerkt, in tegenstelling tot stoornissen in de functie van andere organen.
