Riassunto

La malattia aterosclerotica ha una distribuzione ubiquitaria e le patologie cardiova-scolari, nelle loro varie manifestazioni cliniche, conservano tuttora un’alta prevalenza nella popolazione generale, rappresentando le più frequenti cause di morte in America e nei Paesi occidentali.
