Sclerosi laterale amiotrofica e atrofie muscolari spinali

Riassunto

Con il termine “malattie dei motoneuroni” si indica una serie di patologie caratterizzate dalla degenerazione dei neuroni motori. La classificazione della World Federation of Neurology riconosce in questa dizione numerose entità nosologiche differenti [1]. Le principali forme cliniche includono: la sclerosi laterale amiotrofica, l’atrofia muscolare spinale e la neuronopatia bulbospinale (o malattia di Kennedy).
