La patologia del pericardio è rappresentata essenzialmente dai versamenti acuti e cronici e dalla pericardite costrittiva. Mentre quest’ultima nella sua fase conclamata risulta riservata alla chirurgia convenzionale, i versamenti pericardici possono rendere ragione di un approccio mininvasivo videoassistito.
