Thyristor Rectifier in Closed Loop

Abstract

This chapter discusses the closed-loop control system for a thyristor bridge. It has the step response demonstrated using a thyristor-based model and the corresponding waveforms are illustrated. This forms the basis for the next chapters on the elaborated control design using P, I, and D parameters.
