Preparation and Superconducting Properties of Bi2223 Thick Films
Conference paper
Abstract
Bi1.84Pb0.34Sr1.71Ba0.20Ca2.03Cu3.06Oy thick film composites (superconductor/silver/Ni-based alloy) which were prepared by tape casting technique. The processing parameters for forming a composite system to eliminate vaporization of volatile elements are described. The effects of heat treatment and uniaxial hot pressing pressure were investigated to develop a scheme to Jc characteristic. In this work, Jc value of 4 × 103A/cm2 at 77 k was obtained in a uniaxial hot pressing at 1100 K.
