Uncertainty Relations Between Measurement Errors of Two Observables

Chapter
Part of the Springer Theses book series (Springer Theses)

Abstract

When we have i.i.d. unknown quantum states of \({\hat{\rho }}\), how precisely can we estimate expectation values \(\langle {{\hat{A}}}\rangle \) and \(\langle {{\hat{B}}}\rangle \) of two non-commuting observables \({\hat{A}}\) and \({\hat{B}}\)? In this chapter, we show the uncertainty relations between the measurement errors of the two observables.
