Posterior Fixation of the Cervico-occipital Junction
Conference paper
Abstract
The cervico-occipital junction, easily exposed by a posterior approach, can be fixed either by a metallic wiring or a short plate when only the C1–C2 level is involved, or by a cervico-occipital plate when stabilization must be extended to the skull’s base.
