Zusammenfassung

Als „Verruga peruviana“ wird eine seit der Eroberung der Westküste Südamerikas durch dir Spainer bekannte, nur in den hochgelegenen tälern der peruanischen Anden vorkommende, eigenartiage, knotige Hautefflorescenz genannten bezeichnet, die im Zusammenhang mit einer ihr vorausgehenden, Oroyafieber genannten Allgemeinerkrankung in Erscheinung tritt.
