Abstract

The paper deals with the research and development flexible machining systems (FMS) in one relative wide area of profiles and wire production. The designed technology is based on stress state optimization in the zone of deformation, where are three different technological methods were applied: rolling, roll drawing and matrix drawing. The described concept and realized FMS in industry, is efficient means for more rational cold forming of profiles, particularly for small and medium batches of part production.
