If one asks a philosopher, what intelligence is, one obtains as many answers as there are philosophers. The same result is obtained, if one puts the question to a psychologist or biologist or mathematician or information scientist. Every person has its own imagination about the subject. This is due to his own capabilities and a result of meeting with other people and all other experiences dating back to his time at school. But if we want to talk about Artificial Intelligence (AI) one has to develop some sort of target image, otherwise one may miss the objective.
