Karzinom der Bartholin-Drüse

Zusammenfassung

In weniger als 5 % der Fälle ist die Bartholin-Drüse Ursprung eines Vulvakarzinoms. Grundsätzlich entsprechen Diagnostik und Therapie dieser Karzinome denjenigen bei Vulvakarzinomen, wenige Besonderheiten sind zu beachten. Pathologisch treten dabei aufgrund des differenten zellulären Ursprungs häufiger adenöse Tumortypen auf. Bei der Differenzialdiagnose kommen andere Prozesse der Bartholin-Drüse, insbesondere Zysten und Abszesse, in Betracht, bei denen der translabiale Ultraschall zur Abgrenzung gut geeignet ist. Operativ therapeutisch muss bei der Resektion die mögliche Ausbreitung des Karzinoms von der Drüse in die Fossa ischiorectalis beachtet werden.
