Differenzialdiagnose des Lungenrundherdes und diagnostische Abklärung

Zusammenfassung
Kleine Lungenrundherde unter 1 cm Durchmesser werden zunehmend im Rahmen von hochauflösenden CT-Thorax-Untersuchungen nachgewiesen. Weniger als 10 % dieser Herde sind bösartig. Die weitere diagnostische und therapeutische Behandlung dieser Patienten folgt einem Algorithmus, der unnötige Untersuchungen und Eingriffe vermeidet. Relevante Faktoren sind das Patientenrisiko (Alter, Rauchen, Malignomanamnese), radiologische Kriterien des Lungenrundherdes sowie das Wachstumsverhalten. Die konsequente Anwendung des Algorithmus vermeidet Unsicherheiten bei Patient und Arzt.
