Zusammenfassung

Ängste und Unsicherheit, häufig hervorgerufen durch fehlende oder widersprüchliche Informationen und skandalisierende Berichtserstattung in den Medien, kennzeichnen den Umgang mit multiresistenten Erregern bei Patienten und Angehörigen aber auch beim medizinischen Personal. Dieses Kapitel zeigt Lösungsansätze zur Verbesserung der Kommunikation und weckt Verständnis für die unterschiedlichen Perspektiven.
