Prognostic Significance of Signs and Symptoms in Hydrocephalus: Analysis of survival
Chapter
Abstract
Using Cox’s regression model, an analysis was made to identify signs and symptoms of prognostic significance in hydrocephalic infants and young children. The material consists of 231 patients born between 1946 and 1955 with hydrocephalus diagnosed or suspected before the age of five years (87% before 2 years). The material was collected retrospectively. Age at follow-up was 21 to 35 years.
