Zusammenfassung
Von den Harntrakttumoren sind nur etwa 10 % Nierenbecken- und Harnleitertumoren (Bloom et al. 1970; Johansson u. Wahlqvist 1974; Skeet 1976). Mehr als 90 % der bösartigen Tumoren sind Übergangszellkarzinome und entsprechen in ihrem Aufbau jenen Tumoren, die in der Blase anzutreffen sind (Almgaard et al. 1973; Batata et al. 1975; Bloom et al. 1970; Culp 1955; Das et al. 1990; Dufuour 1970; Fraley 1978). Das Verhältnis beträgt 1:1–3:20–60 (Nierenbecken: Harnleiter: Blase) (Chasko et al. 1981; McCredie et al. 1982). Nierenbecken- und Harnleitertumoren weisen spezifische Merkmale auf, die teilweise eine getrennte Betrachtung notwendig machen.
