Zusammenfassung
Bei den Non-Hodgkin-Lymphomen ist neben dem Tumorstadium die Zuordnung zu einer der 4 Subgruppen
von prognostischer Bedeutung. Durch eine stadienabhängigeTherapie können heute hohe Heilungsraten durch eine intensive Polychemotherapie erzielt werden, so dass auf die früher eingesetzte Strahlentherapie weitgehend verzichtet werden kann. Operative Maßnahmen dienen der Diagnostik (Biopsie), der Resektion eng begrenzter Primärherde und der Erfolgsbeurteilung (»second look operation«) mit Entfernung postchemotherapeutischer Residuen.
