Zusammenfassung
Der Gastrointestinaltrakt ist eines der komplexesten Organsysteme des menschlichen Organismus. Er ist von vitaler Bedeutung für sämtliche Lebensvorgänge, da er für die Aufnahme der Nahrungsstoffe und damit für die Aufrechterhaltung der Energiezufuhr des Organismus verantwortlich ist. Die menschliche Nahrung besteht aus den Nährstoffen Kohlenhydraten, Fetten, Proteinen und Nucleinsäuren sowie Wasser, Elektrolyten, Vitaminen und Spurenelementen.
