Abstract
On the verge of a new millennium, the knowledge movement in organizational thinking has impulsively come of age. This movement is essentially about knowing about knowledge—becoming aware that knowledge is the foremost, most valuable organizational asset by mapping out where it resides and by identifying the conditions that foster its re-use and generation.
