3D Reconstruction of Neurofunctional Systems of the Human Brain

Abstract

In spite of the much improved resolution of CT-, MR-, and PET-images in the last few years, the exact localization of various brain structures is still not possible in these images (e.g. special fiber tracts within the white matter, the primary visual cortex, etc.). This is the reason for creating the datapool of our Neuroanatomical Reference system (NeuRef).
