Abstract

Thirty-five scorpions were used for this neuroanatomical analysis, but only thirteen experimental setups showed successful results. Four of these thirteen animals were males, nine were females. Pegs of all scorpions were counted. Male scorpions had a mean number of 24.23 ± 0.058 (n=17) pectinal tooth per pectine, females however had 19.30 ± 0.583 (n=18) pectinal tooth.
