The empirical research questions formulated in Chapter  5 require a research framework that allows to investigate students’ learning processes as they can be initiated by a carefully designed teaching-learning arrangement. For this purpose, the Design Research framework is suitable which is introduced ub Section 6.1. Section 6.2 provides an overview on the participants and the methods of data collection. The method of data analysis is then described in Section 6.3.
