Not all employment relationships are long‐lasting. It is not unusual for employers to bring an employment relationship to an end after a certain period of time for business reasons or because the “chemistry” is not right. This chapter gives an overview of the possible ways to end an employment relationship, and especially the requirements to adhere to when serving notice.
