Zusammenfassung

Die Frage nach der Möglichkeit eines systemtheoretischen Ansatzes zur Internationalen Politischen Ökonomie (IPÖ) steht bereits zu Anfang vor einem unmittelbaren Problem: die Systemtheorie versteht sich als Gesellschaftstheorie und beansprucht damit ein anderes Abstraktions- und Generalisierungsniveau, als die auf ein sehr spezifisches Problemfeld bezogene IPÖ. Auf den ersten Blick interessiert sich die Systemtheorie primär für die Frage nach Bedingungen, Verzerrungen und Instabilitäten von sozialer Ordnungsbildung.
