Abstract

In this chapter we will discuss the more recent developments and applications of endovascular procedures in the CNS. In view of their recent introduction no definitive long-term conclusions can yet be derived in most instances. Therefore, we will limit ourselves to a review of the various reports, techniques, and experiences in some of these procedures, without attempting an indepth study. A review of the extensive literature and textbooks available on the clinical aspects in these topics is beyond the scope of this chapter.
