Abstract
Lispkit is a variant of full Lisp designed to support programming in a purely functional style. Its implementation is an abstract machine, which can be emulated in hardware or software, and a range of programs (compilers, editors etc.) each of which runs on the abstract machine and which together provide the program development environment for Lispkit programming. Currently Lispkit implementations are available on the Perq, the Vax, the Sirius and the Sage. The system is easily moved to new machines simply by reprogramming the abstract machine.
