Zusammenfassung
Unter dem Dumpingsyndrom werden postprandial auftretende gastrointestinale und vasomotorische Sensationen nach Magenoperationen, die zu einem Verlust der Pylorusfunktion geführt haben, zusammengefaßt. Es wird bei 15–25% aller Magenoperierten beobachtet. Die Symptome des Frühdumping erscheinen innerhalb von 5–10 min nach einer Mahlzeit, während die Beschwerden des Dumpingspätsyndroms 90–120 min postprandial beobachtet werden.
