Systematik und Phylogenie der Algen
Zusammenfassung
Allgemeines. Mit Umsicht und didaktischer Einfühlung hat Harder in der neuesten Auflage des Vier-Männer-Lehrbuches die Systematik der Phycoþhyta oder Algen, als dritter Abteilung der niederen Pflanzen, behandelt. Er unterscheidet darin die Organisationsstufe der Flagellatae, mit den Ordnungen der Chrysomonadales, Heterochloridales, Cryptomonadales, Dinoflagellatae, Euglenales, Protochloridales und Volvocales, von den von Flagellaten abgeleiteten Algenreihen. Hier wird zunächst die 1. Unterabteilung der Chloroþhytina aufgestellt, mit der 1. Klasse der Chloroþhyceae, die in die Ordnungen der Chlorococcales, Ulotrichales, Cladophorales, Chaetophorales, Oedogoniales, Siphonales und Conjugates aufgegliedert wird. Die 2. Klasse umfaßt die Charophyceae, deren „aus gesprochene Sonderstellung“ … „ohne engere Verwandtschaft mit den übrigen grünen Algen“ (Harder) hervorhebt. Eine Auffassung, die gerade in einem Lehrbuch nur zu begrüßen ist.
