Productivity Improvement is a key issue which confronts us all in every economic sector of society and particularly those working in the health sector. Conceptually, productivity is a simple notion: it is the relationship between the physical output (workload in units) of an organization and the input (paid or worked personnel hours) utilized to produce the output. Productivity can be quantified by dividing the output by the input. And productivity can be increased by improving this output/input ratio.
