Abstract
Nasogastric (NG) intubation is a hospital procedure commonly employed for many indications. It is generally regarded as a harmless procedure; nevertheless, minor and major complications directly related to the use of a NG tube have been reported in the literature [5–7, 9,13,16, 26–28].
