Zusammenfassung

Wert oder Unwert einer Prämedikation vor peroralen Endoskopien werden sehr unterschiedlich beurteilt. Einige Zentren verzichten ganz auf sie [7, 9], andere verwenden in ihrer Wirkung z. T. sehr unterschiedliche Substanzen, wobei am häufigsten Diazepam (Valium®) und Meperidinhydrochlorid (Dolantin spezial®) eingesetzt werden [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13].
