Consistent Description of High-Tc Superconductors with the Three-Band Hubbard Model: Quantum Monte Carlo Studies
Conference paper
Abstract
A direct comparison of quantum Monte Carlo results with experimental data on electronic excitations and magnetic properties leads to a set of parameters for the three-band Hubbard model that consistently describes salient features of high-Tc superconductors in the normal state. Furthermore, for the same universal parameter set, the interaction vertex for the pairing correlation function in the extended s-channel is found to be attractive with a doping dependence closely resembling the behaviour of Tc on doping.
