Ground State Wave Function of an Extended Hubbard Model

Energy level structure of an extended Hubbard model, which contains an additional spin flip term, is investigated. At half filling the system is insulating, where the ground state is easily obtained. When a hole is introduced, a bound state appears in the middle of the Hubbard gap.
