Role of Symmetry Breaking in Transfer of Vibrational Coherence from Reactant to Product

Abstract
Initial breaking of centro-symmetry is demonstrated to enhance transfer of vibrational coherence to products in Impulsive photodissociation of trihalide ions in solution.
