Risk Assessement of Kidney Transplantation in Highly Sensibilized Recipients

Summary

The impact of allosensitization for the clinical outcome after allogeneic kidney transplantation was investigated in 277 patients. Results indicate, that sensitized individuals bear higher risks to loose their grafts or to die within the first year after allogeneic kidney transplantation, which is due to more, especially vascular rejections in this group of patients.
