Recurrence Detection of Malignant Mesenchymal Neoplasms in MRI and CT

Abstract
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) as well as computed tomography (CT) have proven to be of great value in the diagnostic workup of primary tumors of the musculoskeletal system [1, 5]. Both imaging methods are valuable for the assessment of local tumor extent [4] and are helpful to a certain degree for tissue characterization [6].
