Abstract
The SU(3) relations of the baryons’ semileptonic decays and the baryons magnetic moments are compared in a model to illustrate how SU(3) breaking effects will appear. The baryon magnetic moments break SU(3) through the explicit quark mass-dependence whereas the g A/gV SU(3) breaking-effects are not so apparent.
