Abstract

Different types of exercise/physical activity training can be incorporated into many facets of activity programming available to a spinal cord injured (SCI) person. These include:
  1. 1.

    The inpatient’s rehabilitation process

  2. 2.

The recreational aspect of daily living activities

  3. 3.

The specialized training for the “elite” wheelchair athlete
